AAUW Convention 2009


Come to St. Louis, Missouri, the end of June and take part in the American Association of University Women Convention.

  • Meet AAUW members from all over the country.

APRIL 2009


Atonement (2007) is the film to be discussed by the At the Movies interest group Monday, April 6, at the home of the hostess.


APRIL 7: V O T E in local elections!

Dr. Karen Tranberg Hansen, socio-cultural anthropologist, Northwestern University, will present The International Secondhand Clothing Trade, Perspective from Africa at the Zion-Benton Public Library 7pm, Tuesday, April 14. This branch general meeting is, as usual, open to the public.

The Book Review Group will meet Thursday, April 16, at 1pm at the home of the hostess.

The branch board will meet at 7pm, Thursday, April 23, at the home of the hostess.

Breaking Through Barriers is the theme of the AAUW Illinois 85th Annual Convention, to be held April 24 & 25 at the Decatur Convention Center and Hotel. AAUW President Ruth Sweetser will be the keynote speaker. For further information, go to http://aauw-il.org/ .
