WOMEN'S EQUALITY DAY

Are American women at war?

Are issues directly affecting women and families under attack?

Learn more about these issues before you cast your vote this Fall.

This annual Women's Equality Day event is sponsored by the Lake County Women's Coalition.

WHEN: Tuesday, August 28, 2012, from 6:00pm til 7:30pm

WHERE:  Robert Morris University, 1507 Waukegan Road, Waukegan (enter through west door)

 

Light snack and beverage will be provided.


The non-partisan panel will include:

Although not written in stone, these are the programs this branch expects to present to members and the public this AAUW year.  Please come back monthly to view times/dates/locations.

Additionally, branch interest groups--At the Movies, Book Review, Exploring Culture, Reflections on Reading, and Travelogue--and the branch board plan to be active monthly.

The branch project that provides hand-knit hats to local newborns will continue; branch participation in the Lake County Women's Coalition will also continue.

State and national AAUW conventions will be held late spring/early summer.

Looking forward to another outstanding AAUW year, we hope to see you in 2012--2013!
