- The Waukegan Area Branch of AAUW is a founding member of the Lake County Women's Coalition. LCWC is having its annual Women's History Month event on Saturday, March 1, at Brae Loch Golf Club (Grayslake), a brunch beginning at 9:30am. The featured speaker will be Barbara Joan Zeitz, women's historian and AAUW member.
- The At the Movies interest group will meet at 7pm, Monday, March 3, to discuss Silver Linings Playbook (2012).
- Alan Brennert's novel Palisades Park will be discussed at the Reflections on Reading interest group's Thursday, March 6, meeting at 7pm.
- This month's WAB general meeting will be at 7pm, Tuesday, March 11, at the Gurnee Police Facility community room. Speaker Sally Foster will address the topic Child & Elder Abuse. As always, the general meeting is open to the public.
- On Thursday, March 20, at 1pm, the branch Book Review interest group will meet.
- A member's trip to Turkey will be featured at the 7pm, Tuesday, March 25, meeting of the Travelogue interest group.
- The branch board will meet at 7pm, Thursday, March 27.
