• Anthony Doerr's novel All the Light We Cannot See will be discussed at the Reflections on Reading interest group at 7pm, Thursday, September 8.

• Be our guest at 9:30am, Saturday, September 10, for our potluck branch general meeting at the Community Room of the Gurnee Police Facility.  Four local school superintendents will form a panel to discuss Empowering Girls, Empowering Boys. 

• The At the Movies interest group will discuss the film My Old Lady (2014) at 7pm, Monday, September 12.

• The branch board will meet at 7pm, Thursday, September 22.

• A member will give her presentation "A Week in London" at 7pm, Tuesday, September 28, at the Travelogue interest group meeting.
