- The Reflections on Reading interest group will meet at 1pm, Thursday, November 2, to discuss Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis by J.D. Vance.
- Remember, a 2015 film, will be discussed by the At the Movies interest group on Monday, November 6, at 7pm.
- Co-sponsored by the AAUW Waukegan Area Branch, "Illinois Taxes and Our Pocketbooks" will feature Ralph Martire, executive director of the not-for-profit Center for Tax and Budget Accountability. The event is open to the public and will be held at Waukegan Township Park Place, 414 S. Lewis, Waukegan, at 6pm, Monday, November 13.
- This month's WAB general meeting will be at 7pm, Tuesday, November 14, at the Gurnee Police Facility community room. James LaRue will address the topic "The Conflict Between Social Justice and Intellectual Freedom." Our general meetings are open to the public.
- The Travelogue interest group's 7pm, Tuesday, November 28, meeting will feature a program on New Zealand, Sydney, and the Great Barrier Reef.
